Ma Ani
Having discovered Art very late, this emerging artist creates, paints, draws, sculpts, pastes and molds with a ferocious appetite. If all media interests her, from pure pigment to invisible ink, acrylic has precedence and occupies a lot of space in her practice. If all supports attract her, from car windshield to inflatable flamingo, the solid and noble wooden panel remains her favorite. Likewise, Ma Ani has a weakness for straight lines and flat colors with exuberant colors that she combines to form geometric works as zen as they are moving. Graduated in art therapy and visual arts, Ma Ani has presented 4 exhibitions in Quebec art centers since 2017. She lives and works in Knowlton, a small idyllic village on the shores of Lake Brome in Quebec.
