Being a Multi-disciplinary artist, Cathy Raymond's pictorial approach is a blend of artistic techniques that a priori obeys her need to create intuitively. A process that addresses the notions of balance and happiness in connection with detachment; create for pleasure without expectations. There will therefore be something of the intimate, the dreamlike at times that will emerge from the poetic atmosphere of the pieces. A sensitivity is expressed, that of the mother, the woman, the living being in a rural environment, in search of harmony, joy and "care".
Her digital work takes root in her explorations in visual arts.
She works at the base with intuitive or looks-free drawings, spontaneous abstract paintings, surrealist collages, laser cut shapes/lines on textiles or wood, and her artistic photographs to create independent digital works later. Her training of more than 20 years of experience as a graphic designer nourishes her compositions and her exploration process. With her digital drawing tablet, she plays with shapes, textures, colors in overlapping and recompose the space.
Careful and intuitive work is added to these bases, to create creative contemporary works bathed in the universe of the digital and the analog. She finds balance by combining these two universes that she has always simultaneously encountered.

For her, creation is experienced like a journey: "Travel for me is a passage into the unknown which at first sight seems to have a beginning and an end, but in the end, it is a journey towards a new adventure without end: that of discovering life! A departure that is never the same because every experience is meant to be growing, and a semblance of an end that launches me in a new direction. It is a physical journey, but also an inner one. " A new experience with each creation!
